Dondi AI
A browser AI girlfriend with a low entry price and a sales page its own code contradicts: "unlimited" media that costs tokens, a zero-log promise its privacy policy overrides, a self-resetting countdown, hard-coded ratings, and an operator named differently in the terms and the footer.

What Dondi Is
Dondi.ai is a browser-based AI girlfriend service: a WordPress marketing site at dondi.ai and the product itself at app.dondi.ai. You pick a ready-made companion or build one, then chat and pay tokens for photos, voice messages and short videos. The homepage roster is mostly women aged 21 to 52, with tags like "Latina", "Gamer" or "ER Nurse", filed under Asian, Mature, Latin and Anime tabs. There is no app to install; Dondi's own FAQ says it runs in any browser.
Very little sets it apart from the dozens of companion sites built on the same template. The pitch rests on memory ("she remembers the details that matter"), a "fully private adult mode", and privacy promises stronger than anything else we have read in this category. A few character surnames (Nienow, Kozey, Stroman) look lifted from the default name lists of Faker, a library developers use to fill test databases with fake people. That's a small tell about how fast the roster was assembled.
We did not test Dondi hands-on. On 29 September 2026 we read its homepage, terms, privacy policy, contact and help pages, and the code that dondi.ai and app.dondi.ai send to the browser. The current registration of the dondi.ai domain dates from 7 January 2026, the terms and privacy policy are dated 8 January 2026, and the Internet Archive's oldest capture is from 31 March 2026. In its current form, Dondi is under nine months old.

The yearly plan also carries a "spots left today!" label in the code. A software subscription has no spots to run out of.
Prices and Token Maths
The pricing page renders nothing useful logged out. The app does ship a fallback price catalogue, used when the live quote fails to load. On 29 September 2026 it read $14.99 a month, $35.97 for three months ($11.99 a month) and $71.88 a year ($5.99 a month), with 200 tokens a month on Premium and a "+500 bonus tokens" offer on the yearly plan's first month. The checkout asks the server for a live quote first, with its own "original" and "discounted" prices, so what you see after signing up may differ. We could not see that quote without an account.
Free accounts get "Limited" chat and images and no video or voice, per the app's own comparison table. Token packs, with what they make each action cost:

The last two packs appear in only one pricing variant, and a third variant halves Passion, Obsession and Devotion to $7.99, $19.99 and $59.99. Checkout also pushes small add-ons, such as 40 extra tokens for $1.99 on a monthly plan. Premium's 200 tokens buy 40 images or four 5-second videos a month. On yearly billing that's $5.99 for tokens the Flirt pack would sell for $8, which is the one number on this page that looks good.
For scale: Dream Companion's yearly Premium costs $5.84 a month for 100 coins, about 33 images, from a company with a Berlin register number. Its video clips run 10 or 15 seconds; the clip Dondi's token screen prices runs 5.
Who Runs Dondi?
The terms of service open with "Welcome to dondi.ai (Techcommerce Unlimited, 15090 Kensington Park Dr, Tustin, CA 92782)". The footer on every page says "Powered by dondi.ai Labs Inc." The privacy policy names neither and gives no address, only "dondi.ai" as data controller. The only Techcommerce Unlimited we could find online runs eModernTech, an electronics web shop whose terms give a Fountain Valley, California address: different street, different town, and no mention of Dondi. The link between the two is unproven either way.
The governing-law clause settles nothing. Disputes go to "the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction" under "the applicable laws of the operating jurisdiction", and neither is named. Contact is one email address, [email protected], with a promised reply in 24 to 48 hours, plus a Telegram channel. The Help Center page in the footer had no articles.
One more clue, for what it's worth. Dondi's checkout code contains experiment names built on "secrets" (for example "exp_secrets_create_pricing_copy_v1") and a headline reading "Your Secret Character Is Ready", and the footer's "dondi.ai Labs Inc." mirrors the "Secret Labs Inc." credited on Secrets AI, which we have reviewed. That hints at shared code or a shared team. Nothing public confirms it.
Billing, Refunds and Cancelling
- Renewal. Every plan renews automatically. Cancel in account settings; access runs to the end of the paid period, with no partial refunds.
- Refund window. A subscription refund can be requested within 24 hours of payment, only if you have not gone past "minimal use" of premium features. Tokens: within 24 hours, and only if none were spent.
- Chargebacks. Disputing a charge can cancel the subscription, forfeit remaining tokens and block future purchases.
- Payment. Cards through an embedded card form, with an Apple Pay switch in the code. Descriptor "DonAI" or "Dondi", per the two contradictory lines above.
- Age checks. An 18+ click-through gate, remembered in your browser. The terms let Dondi demand age verification "at any time", and the app contains an age-verification screen we could not trigger logged out.
- Content rules. Roleplay must stay "fictional and consensual" per the FAQ, and the homepage says companion models use no human likeness. Real people's photos and likenesses are off-limits.
What Works in Its Favour
In fairness: if the fallback catalogue is what you pay, the entry price is low. The 24-hour refund window is narrow, but it is more than Dream Companion or Kupid AI offer. Cancellation is self-serve, the ready-made characters all carry adult ages, and a voice message at 1 token costs between 1.6 and 4 cents. None of it is verified in use, and none of it outweighs a sales page built on numbers the code itself contradicts.

Dondi may chat perfectly well. We can't tell you, and its own marketing gives no reason to take that on trust: a user count that contradicts the traffic figure on the same page, "unlimited" features that cost tokens, a zero-log promise its privacy policy contradicts, a countdown that restarts itself, ratings typed into the code, and an operator named one way in the footer and another in the terms. The single concrete protection, a 24-hour refund window, is narrow. The score reflects what we could verify, and almost none of it held.
Try it only if: you want to spend one month's $14.99 out of curiosity and set a reminder to cancel within the refund window if it disappoints.
