What We Checked

Lovel.ai is small: about 90 US searches a month, no mobile app, and zero Trustpilot reviews on 29 September 2026. With no user experience to summarise, we went to the source. Lovel's site runs on a public API, and on 29 September we read the price list, plan feature table and companion catalog it serves to any visitor, plus the terms of service (last updated 1 December 2025), the privacy policy and the 2257 statement (both dated 3 March 2026), and the English text file that holds every button and paywall message in the app.

We did not create a paid account, chat or generate anything, and we flag every detail that only appears after payment. Also note that Lovel blocks some regions: our French connection got "Access to this service is currently unavailable in your region or network environment", while a server in Germany loaded the site normally.

The Create-Your-Girl Funnel, Step by Step

Most traffic lands on lovel.ai/create-girl, and the whole business model is visible in how that page is wired. Here is the sequence, reconstructed from the app's own screens and labels:

1. Style. Realistic or anime. No account needed yet.
2. Basic info. A name and an age.
3. Face. Ethnicity (including Succubus and Elf options), hair type, hair colour, eye colour.
4. Body. Body type from Slim to BBW, breast size, butt size.
5. Personality. Behaviour (18 options, Shy to Bratty), occupation, kinks, hobby and your relationship to her.
6. Review, then "Generate a model". This is where the free ride ends. Some options in the carousels were already locked along the way: a guest sees "One step away. A free account opens this"; a signed-in free user sees "This one's Premium". Male and trans companions are locked for everyone, and even paying members get "Early access in progress… You're in the queue."
7. Sign-up. Google or an emailed login link, under the headline "Just one free step to me 👄".
8. The paywall. A plan sheet priced per day ("Just €X a day"), an "X upgraded today" counter, and a free-trial or paid-trial switch. Try to close it and a second screen asks "Wait, are you really leaving all this behind?" with the exit button labelled "Leave and lose access". A third can follow: "Get extra discount! One-time offer", where declining means pressing "Lose my discount", next to a countdown.

Two details in the trial fine print matter. The free-trial screen promises "No charge today", and its small print reads "Your Premium access continues after X days on a Y-month plan", with the numbers filled in per offer. In other words the trial does not roll into one month, it rolls into a multi-month plan. The trial length and the plan it converts to were not visible to us without an account, so read that line on your own screen before you enter a card.

Prices and What a Lov Buys

Credit where due: Lovel publishes its prices in machine-readable form. This is what the list returned on 29 September 2026, in euros for our European connection; September coverage elsewhere quotes the same figures in dollars for US visitors.

Every plan is permanently "on sale". The crossed-out figure is the default, the discount is baked in, and in-app banners stack a "Premium discount!" and an "Extra discount!" marked "Last chance!" on top. Treat the lower number as the real price. Lovs, the in-app currency, also come in packs, and this is where the actual cost of adult content lives:

Premium's monthly 100 Lovs equal ten photos or five of the cheapest clips, so 20 photos a month costs about €24 all-in. The two smaller packs cost the same per Lov, so skip the €29.99 one. And check one setting on day one: the chat menu has an option described as "Your companion can send photos and videos anytime — they arrive unlocked, with Lovs used automatically." Leave that on and your balance drains at the companion's pace, not yours.

Free vs Premium vs Ultra

Lovel's plan feature table, as returned by its API, reads like this. Anything we could not see working is labelled "on paper".

Five messages a day is a demo. For a companion you can talk to without paying, start with our free AI girlfriend picks. On the paid side, Ultra costs €4 more than Premium per month and buys six times the daily messages, 300 memories and unlimited group chats, so it is the better buy for daily users. The terms mention voice messages, custom characters get a "Select voice" menu and chats can continue in Telegram with synced memory, but the only praise for voice comes from a testimonial we cover under red flags. Treat voice as unconfirmed.

Cancelling and the 24-Hour Refund Rule

Subscriptions renew automatically. The terms require you to switch off renewal or cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and access continues to the end of the paid period. Cancelling runs through a multi-step flow that includes a survey with seven reasons, a "one-time discount" screen and a reason-specific retention offer (half price, 45% off, or pausing the subscription for up to 60 days), each with a "Cancel anyway" button. Annoying, but you can get through it.

Refunds are where the terms get tight. From section 8, as published on 29 September 2026:

• A subscription refund must be requested within 24 hours of payment.
• Within those 24 hours it is still refused if you spent 5 or more of the subscription's Lovs, accessed subscriber-only content, or sent more messages than the free tier allows. So one evening of normal use voids it.
• Lov packs: 24 hours, and spending a single Lov makes the whole pack final.
• Only card payments qualify; payments through third parties follow their own rules.
• A chargeback lets Lovel suspend the account, cancel the subscription and forfeit remaining Lovs.

Payment runs through a processor called Upgate, with Apple Pay enabled and a crypto option on most plans. The app promises "discreet billing, no brand on your statement", which we could not verify without buying.

Who Runs Lovel.ai

The terms name the other party to your contract as MAX ATTN CAPITAL LTD, a private company at an office address in Limassol, Cyprus. A Cyprus registry mirror lists it as HE 426942, incorporated on 20 October 2021. Cypriot law and courts govern. The footer also lists "USA: Hyperspace Labs Inc.", which we could not tie to anything.

The brand itself is young. The lovel.ai domain was registered on 19 February 2026, the Internet Archive's first capture is from 28 March 2026, and the oldest companions in the catalog carry creation stamps from December 2025. The catalog held 73 companions on 29 September (38 anime, 34 realistic, one unlabelled), human ages listed from 18 to 45, with Submissive, Bratty and Romantic the most common tags. The 2257 statement says all imagery is AI-generated, the terms say Lovel "may require age or identity verification", and the app ships an age-verification screen. We could not see which regions trigger it.

Red Flags

• The encryption claim. A chat info panel says "This chat is protected with end-to-end encryption", and a cancel-flow screen adds "Only you can read your chats", "Zero data breaches" and "No third parties. No exceptions." An AI companion's servers have to read your messages to answer them, and Lovel's own privacy policy says account, chat and moderation data may be kept for three to five years after your last activity and shared with payment, identity-verification and other service providers. The policy is the binding document. The claim is marketing.
• Scripted testimonials. The quotes on the upgrade page ("Voice messages feel so natural. Sometimes I forget she's AI.", "Upgraded after one day on free. Zero regrets since.") are fixed strings in the app's translation file. With zero Trustpilot reviews and no user discussion we could find, they are the only "reviews" Lovel has.
• Inconsistent bragging. One screen says "1,000+ members enjoying Premium", another "millions trust Lovel.ai". Both cannot be true.
• Numbers that disagree. Premium's monthly Lovs appear as 100 in the plan table and 125 on a comparison card; Ultra's as 150 and 200. Small, but it is the currency you pay with.

Lovel.ai gets real things right: prices public down to the cost of a 10-second clip, an inexpensive Ultra tier and a builder with more depth than most newcomers. Everything around those prices pushes the other way. The free tier is too thin to judge the product, the paywall is stacked with counters and "Lose my discount" buttons, trials convert to multi-month plans, and the refund window is 24 hours with a 5-Lov tripwire. Add an encryption claim its own privacy policy contradicts, testimonials written into the code and zero independent reviews, and the risk sits with the buyer. Fair pricing, unproven product, hostile terms.

If you still want to try it, buy one month of Premium or Ultra with no trial switch, turn off automatic media purchases, and decide within the first day.
