DarLink AI is a web app at darlink.ai for chatting with AI companions who also send generated images, videos and voice messages. Its selling point is the creator: gender, art style, looks, voice, personality, fetishes and outfit all come from long, published option lists, and the plan page tells you exactly what media costs. On 20 October 2026 it sold three plans, Essential, Advanced and Ultimate, billed monthly, quarterly or yearly, plus a token shop for top-ups.
This review is built from DarLink's public pages: the plan page and the plan data it loads, the token shop, the character creator (steps 1 to 4 of 5), the homepage and plan-page FAQs, the terms of service, the refund and privacy policies (all three dated August 2025), and Trustpilot. It is not a hands-on test, so there are no chat logs or sample images below, and we don't grade writing or image quality. Our July version scored DarLink on chat and image quality nobody could check; those judgments are gone.

- Who it's for: people who want to build a detailed custom character, including male, futa, anime, furry or fantasy styles; users who want fetishes and outfits built into the creator; image-heavy users who like a fixed price per picture.
- What the entry price buys: Essential at $12.99 a month ($9.99 a month billed yearly) includes 6,000 messages, 100 coins a month (about 50 images or 5 videos), 6 standard voices and NSFW.
- The one thing to watch: refunds don't cover cancelling or changing your mind, and the refund policy says cancellation takes effect when support receives your written notice. Start with a month, and cancel in writing well before renewal.
What You Get: Creator, Chat & Voices
The creator is the main reason to pick DarLink. We stepped through it on 20 October and copied the option lists. The counts below exclude the "Custom" free-text option that appears on nearly every list:
- Gender and style: Female, Male or Futa; six art styles (Realistic V2, marked new, plus Realistic, Anime, Furry, Fantasy and Cartoon).
- Appearance: 10 ethnicities (including Japanese, Slavic and Elf), an age slider from 18 to 99, 9 eye colors (including heterochromia), 9 hair colors, 9 hair styles, 4 body types, 4 breast sizes and 5 butt sizes.
- Voice: 15 voice presets with preview clips, 5 of them labelled "Advanced Only".
- Persona: 11 relationship presets, 9 personalities, 18 occupations, up to 3 of 22 hobbies, 22 fetish tags, plus free-text scenario, greeting message and physical details.
- Outfits: 53 preset outfits across Sexy, Work, Casual, Sport, Costume and Other.
If you would rather not build from scratch, the homepage carousel listed 23 named featured characters on 20 October, and the Explore feed adds user-made characters you can filter by relationship, personality, occupation, fetish, hobbies, gender, ethnicity, age and body details. Paid plans carry a "Creator Badge", and Advanced and Ultimate let you add a support link to your profile. There is also a Discord community with a DarLink bot. Chat, memory and voices by plan
- Messages: 6,000 a month on Essential, 9,000 on Advanced, unlimited on Ultimate.
- Memory: "Basic", "Enhanced" and "Living". The plan FAQ defines them: basic remembers the essentials during your sessions, enhanced keeps your preferences from one session to the next, and living is "a persistent and evolving memory that adapts over time".
- Roleplay: "Quick", "Deep" and "Unlimited" roleplay creation, with an "Elite Roleplay Engine" on Ultimate only.
- Speed: "Fastest Messaging Time" on Advanced and Ultimate.
- Voices: 6 standard voices on Essential, 10 premium voices on Advanced and Ultimate, per the plan page.

Images & Video: What the Coins Buy
Media runs on coins. Each plan comes with a monthly allowance, and the plan page prices image generation at 2 tokens and video generation at 20 tokens on every plan. The page calls the allowance "coins" and the prices "tokens"; the refund policy says each plan provides "a set amount of tokens per billing period", so we read them as one currency.
- Essential: 100 coins a month, about 50 images or 5 videos.
- Advanced: 300 coins, about 150 images or 15 videos.
- Ultimate: 500 coins, about 250 images or 25 videos.

Adult Content
NSFW is listed on all three plans. The plan FAQ says it is allowed "on all plans" as long as content is legal and consensual, with no minors or "forbidden themes", and that non-compliant requests are blocked automatically. The creator's 22 fetish tags, from feet and latex to bondage, femdom and humiliation, and the explicit scenarios in the Explore feed point the same way. NSFW characters in the feed are blurred until you click "Show".

The quarterly toggle shows "$10.99 / month · billed quarterly" and so on, which works out to $32.97, $65.97 and $119.97 per quarter. The yearly totals come from the plan data. Card payment works on every billing length; according to the plan FAQ, crypto is accepted on annual plans only, without auto-renewal. Tokens can also be bought with card or crypto.
Which plan to choose
- To try it: Essential monthly, $12.99. It is the smallest commitment, and since DarLink doesn't refund cancellations, one month is the safest way to find out whether the creator and the chat suit you. It still includes 6,000 messages and about 50 images.
- For chat with occasional pictures: Essential yearly, $9.99 a month ($119.88 upfront). Same allowance as monthly, 23% cheaper.
- For lots of images or video: Advanced yearly, $18.99 a month ($227.88 upfront). 300 coins a month cover about 150 images or 15 videos, about 13 cents an image, the lowest rate in DarLink's lineup (tied with Ultimate yearly). It also brings 9,000 messages, enhanced memory, the 10 premium voices and fastest messaging.
- Ultimate ($49.99, or $32.99 a month yearly) is only worth it if you need unlimited messages, Living memory or 250 images a month; per image it costs the same as Advanced yearly.

Each plan's price spread over a month, divided by the images its coins cover. The figure assumes all coins go to images and counts nothing for chat, so treat it as a ceiling.

If you regularly run out of coins, moving up a plan beats topping up: Advanced yearly works out at about 13 cents an image, against 16 to 20 cents from packs. The best real saving in the shop is 20%, on packs of $299.99 or more.
Before You Pay
Everything below comes from DarLink's own documents or its Trustpilot page on 20 October 2026.
- Refunds: the refund policy only refunds fraudulent charges, billing or technical errors on DarLink's side, and a pro-rated amount if DarLink terminates you without cause. It excludes cancellations, accidental purchases and "change of mind", and unused tokens are not refunded. The terms add one discretionary case: a request within 24 hours of purchase with minimal use, granted at DarLink's "sole discretion".
- Cancelling: the terms say you can cancel in your account settings or through support. The refund policy says cancellation "takes effect once our customer support team receives your written cancellation notice", with replies in about 72 hours, and at least four of the 12 Trustpilot reviews are about cancelling. Do both: cancel in settings and email support@darlink.ai, keep the message, and do it days before renewal. Crypto payments are annual only and don't auto-renew.
- Chargebacks: the refund policy reserves the right to send your account and communication records, "private messages" included, to your bank or payment processor if you dispute a charge.
- Discount labels: the Yearly toggle says "SAVE 44%", but yearly billing saves 23% on Essential, 32% on Advanced and 34% on Ultimate. The plan page runs an "Offer ends in" countdown, the homepage shows a "50% OFF ULTIMATE" banner we could not match to any Ultimate price, and the plan data carries higher "original" monthly prices ($23.99, $40 and $60). In the token shop, the crossed-out prices are calculated at about 12 to 16 cents a token, above the 10 cents the smallest pack actually costs, and the 350-token pack sold as "Save 20%" costs the same per token as the 100-token pack.
- Role-play presets: the creator's relationship presets include Step Sister, Step Mom and School Mate. The age slider stops at 18, and the youngest age shown on a character on the public pages we loaded was 18. Our method takes one point off the overall score when the publisher itself offers archetypes like these.
- No free plan described: the plan page lists three paid tiers only. The homepage FAQ says "each chat message and image generation consumes a certain number of tokens", while the plan page sells messages as a monthly quota; which applies to your account is not visible without signing up.
- Terms vs plan page: section 5.1 of the terms lists "pornographic, sexually explicit, or highly obscene" content among things users must not post, before adding that DarLink "may allow some adult-oriented conversation between consenting adults". The same section bans content depicting slavery, yet a homepage-featured community character on 20 October was written as a royal family's slave. Expect the filter to be less predictable than the plan page suggests.
- What isn't documented: memory tiers are described but not quantified, video length and resolution are not published, and the plan page (6 standard and 10 premium voices) and the creator (15 presets, 5 "Advanced Only") count voices differently. Generation time, editing and re-rolls are not documented either.
- No store app: we found no App Store or Google Play listing from FameLink. The only iOS app named "DarLink" belongs to an unrelated health-tech company. The site runs in a mobile browser.
- Privacy: the policy says DarLink may train its AI on anonymised conversation data, analyses chats and images with automated tools, uses Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel cookies, and shares data with service providers. The plan FAQ's line that DarLink "never" shares personal information with third parties is broader than the policy itself, which does list GDPR-style rights to access and deletion. The Discord partner program credits server owners as referrers for purchases made through their server.
- Age checks: the terms rely on you confirming you're 18+, and say accounts may be suspended pending age verification if DarLink suspects a minor.
- Who you pay: FameLink SA, Les Mengartes 37, 2828 Montsevelier, Jura, Switzerland, Swiss company number CHE-443.347.069. Charges appear as DARLINK AI. Outside the US, Swiss law and ICC arbitration in Geneva apply; in the US, New York law and AAA arbitration, with a class-action waiver that new users can opt out of by email within 30 days. Support is support@darlink.ai; the terms also use contact@darlink.ai for refunds, complaints and disputes.
- User feedback: on 20 October 2026 DarLink's claimed Trustpilot profile showed a TrustScore of 2.4 from only 12 reviews: seven 1-star, two 2-star, two 4-star and one 5-star. Recurring complaints are cancellation, slow video generation and images that ignore prompts; the newest, dated 11 October 2026, says a token purchase never arrived. On memory, a January 2026 reviewer on Essential compared it to "chatting to someone with Alzheimer's", while a 5-star review from the same month says it "actually remembers context". The plan page's "Real Talk from Real Users" quotes are credited only to handles such as "NeoTechie via Reddit", which we could not verify.
