Yodayo made its name with uncensored anime art and roleplay, then banned explicit content in August 2024 and launched a sister brand, Moescape. Both sites are still online, sell the same four plans and share one character library.

This review rests on pages anyone can open: the pricing pages of yodayo.com and moescape.ai, both content policies, both sets of terms and refund policies, the privacy policies, Moescape's child safety policy, the Google Play and App Store listings, and Trustpilot, all checked on 20 October 2026. Both sites sit behind a browser check that blocks simple scripts, so we loaded them in a regular browser engine from France; prices still displayed in US dollars. This is not a hands-on test: there are no chat logs or sample images below, and anything behind the login wall is marked as such.

What You Get

Yodayo is a web platform for anime fans. Its homepage lists Tavern (character roleplay), an image generator, image presets and editing tools, a Model Hub for community models, LoRA training, video generation, music generation from your own lyrics and AI voice. A built-in assistant, Yoda-chan, is labelled beta. Moescape, at moescape.ai, is the same product under another name, with Moe-chan as its assistant.

• Still online, not merged: yodayo.com has not been redirected to Moescape. Both domains were live on 20 October 2026 with the same menu.
• Shared library: both Tavern pages, sorted by top characters of the year, showed the same characters with the same message counts (for example "Emy / Your roommate" at 221.3K on both). That points to one shared database. Whether one login works on both sites sits behind the login wall, so we can't confirm it.
• Credits under two names: Yodayo calls its credits YoBeans and Moescape calls them Mochi. Moescape's help centre has a page for each name.
• Apps: yodayo.com offers an APK file to download. Moescape links to Google Play and the App Store.

Tavern roleplay: what the plans promise

We don't grade writing without a test, so this sticks to what the pages promise. The homepage advertises roleplay "powered by LLMs like GLM, DeepSeek and Claude", plus memory, reasoning, character creation, voice cloning, lorebooks and images inside chat. The plan cards tie model access to your tier:

• Plus: "unlimited chats on Ultra and Elune 12B models".
• Pro: Plus models and unlimited "Deepseek V4 Flash, GPT 5.6 Luna, GPT 6 Luna, Nephra, Elune and Apollo 70B", with output raised to 700 tokens.
• Premium: Pro models and unlimited "Athena, Deepseek V3.2 and Deepseek R1", output up to 900 tokens.
• Platinum: the Premium models, output up to 1,000 tokens.

Every paid plan says "Enjoy better memory in chats" without a number. Free users chat from their credit balance; the per-message cost isn't shown on the public pages. Creators get paid too: the pricing FAQ promises a 20% commission on user messages once a public bot passes 4,000 interactions in 90 days, credited daily.

Image, video, music & voice tools

The generator page loads without an account, so its options are visible. On 20 October it offered image-to-image (uploads up to 3 MB), Hires.fix, Regional Prompter, ADetailer, ControlNet, a High Priority switch, negative prompts and a "quality tags" toggle. The default single image was priced at 7 credits. The base-model list included anime checkpoints such as Perfect Anime Anima and Ozia variants alongside Ideogram 4.5, Qwen Image 3 and GPT Image 2.5 options, and the Model Hub's most-used entries were Illustrious-based models such as WAI-Illustrious-SDXL.

• Community models: the homepage claims "105,000+ Models & Spells" (spells are LoRAs), and you can upload models or train your own LoRA for a consistent character.
• Video: the site says video generation is "powered by top models like Minimax, Google Veo 3, Kling, and more".
• Music and voice: music from your own lyrics and a text-to-speech voice tool.

Yodayo vs Moescape: what differs

The Yodayo front end still lets you browse Tavern by MILF, NTR, Futanari, Yaoi or Yuri; Moescape removes those filters. The characters underneath are the same and both sites carry a content policy that bans explicit material, so the difference is in what each storefront chooses to show, not in what the generator allows.

Adult Content: What the Policy Allows

Yodayo's content policy page was still dated 21 August 2024 on 20 October 2026. A Trustpilot review posted on 12 August 2024 already describes NSFW chat and image generation being removed in "the August 12 update". The policy sets three ratings: PG ("safe content"), PG-13 ("slightly revealing clothing/attire, light violence and gore, generally suggestive") and R ("revealing clothing, violence and gore"). Then it draws the line:

• "Users can opt-in for R rated content but any sexually explicit content that contain nudity or excessively lewd content are not allowed for both generation and publishing (art and characters)."
• "Users are also blocked from generation and publishing of content that are considered sexually explicit for both art and characters."
• Profile and banner images with nudity are removed after 48 hours, and re-uploading them "may result in suspension of your account".
• Accounts that "attempt to bypass our content moderation will be terminated", with data "permanently unrecoverable".

The policy describes a "Show Sensitive Content" toggle for R-rated art and characters, in wording that is hard to follow, and leaves R-rated models "up to the moderators' discretion". Nothing in it permits nudity. Moescape's policy, dated 9 September 2024, lists only PG and PG-13 and bans "obscene, vulgar and pornographic content" for both chat and art. That is why Adult Content Scope scores 2.0.

Two signals point the other way, and we report them without being able to settle them. Yodayo's newer terms (1 September 2025) say "all characters depicted or represented in sexual or adult contexts must be adults", which assumes such contexts exist. And a 5-star Trustpilot review from February 2025 says Yodayo "brought back Nsfw". The content policy page itself has not changed, and checking what the filter actually allows would mean signing up and testing, which this review does not do. Plan on the written policy: no explicit content.

Pricing & Which Plan to Choose

Prices seen on 20 October 2026 on moescape.ai/buy and yodayo.com/buy, displayed in US dollars even from a French connection:

All paid plans list "No Ads!" and "better memory in chats". The annual figures are what the page shows per month "billed annually"; the yearly totals are our arithmetic. yodayo.com shows the same four plans but only with monthly billing.

One-time credit packs, the same on both sites unless noted: 349 credits for $1.99 (first purchase only), 550 for $5 (Moescape only), 1,300 for $10, 3,000 for $20, 8,000 for $50, 17,000 for $100 and 85,000 for $500. The App Store listing shows the same packs and plans a cent cheaper in places ($4.99, $9.99, $19.99, $49.99, $99.99). Earned credits "do not expire", per the pricing FAQ.

What a dollar buys in credits

Credits pay for images and some chat, so the useful number is the cost per 1,000 credits. The last column divides each amount by the 7-credit default image price we saw; treat it as a ceiling, since you'll also spend credits on chat or higher settings. Subscription rows count credits only and ignore the unlimited chat that comes with them.

Plus and Pro grant the same 1,400 credits, so the extra $5 on Pro buys chat models and longer replies, not credits. Premium is the weakest deal on credits alone.

Which plan we'd pick: start on the free tier (100 credits plus 50 a day). If you outgrow it, Plus is the plan for most people: try a month at $9.99, then move to annual Plus on Moescape at $7.50 a month (about $90 a year), the cheapest credits of any plan except annual Platinum. Pick Pro only if you want its specific chat models and 700-token replies. Heavy image makers who would otherwise buy packs should look at annual Platinum ($29.99 a month for 6,250 credits). Since refunds are narrow (below), don't start with a year.

Refunds, renewals & who runs it

• Companies: yodayo.com's terms and privacy policy name SYR CORP, 8 The Green, Ste. A, Dover, Delaware, under Delaware law. moescape.ai's terms name Moe AI Limited (registered number 78038166), Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong, under Hong Kong law. The Google Play app lists Syr Corp as developer; the App Store app lists Moescape Technology Corp as seller. Who charges your card can depend on where you subscribe, and we couldn't see the checkout without an account.
• Refunds: both refund policies (Yodayo dated 24 January 2024, Moescape 9 September 2024) only consider extended service downtime or unauthorised use of your payment method, requested within 7 days. "Dissatisfaction with the service output", accidental purchases and misunderstanding a feature are excluded. Allow up to 10 business days for a reply.
• Renewals and cancelling: Yodayo's terms say subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price and you must cancel before renewal; cancelling stops future charges but doesn't refund the current period. The public pages don't say where in your account you cancel.
• Credits: the terms add that credits have no cash value and that the credit cost of any feature can change. Costs for video, music, voice and chat are hidden until you sign up.
• Discount badges: the 8,000-credit pack is labelled "18% OFF" on Yodayo and "31% OFF" on Moescape at the same $50 price. Moescape measures from its $5 pack, the most expensive credits it sells, while Yodayo measures from the $10 pack. Same goes for the larger packs (23% vs 35%).
• Age: both sets of terms require users to be 18+. On the public pages we saw no age gate; Yodayo's privacy policy says it may ask for a date of birth. The store listings rate the app lower: Teen on Google Play, 16+ on the App Store.

User feedback

Feedback splits by channel. On 20 October 2026 the Moescape app had 4.1 stars from 10.1K reviews and 500K+ downloads on Google Play, and 4.6 out of 5 from 1.7K ratings on the App Store; our User Feedback score uses the Google Play rating, the largest base. Trustpilot tells another story: yodayo.com's unclaimed profile showed a TrustScore of 2.8 from only 6 reviews, most of them 1-star posts from August and September 2024 about the NSFW removal, plus a June 2025 "total rip off merchants" complaint. We found no Trustpilot profile for moescape.ai.

Community characters

Among the year's most-chatted Tavern characters on yodayo.com on 20 October was a user-made card titled "Highschool RPG" (111.6K messages) carrying the Futanari, Dominant and MILF tags, next to other high-school-setting cards. Both sites ban suggestive content involving minors, and Moescape publishes a separate child safety policy that commits to reporting abuse material to NCMEC. Yodayo is a capable, well-priced SFW anime creation platform. For the NSFW use that made it famous, its own policy says no.

The 6.3 reflects both sides. Value is top of the scale (10.0): Plus costs $9.99 a month, or $7.50 on annual billing, with unlimited chat on named models and 1,400 credits. Features score 7.5: text chat, image and video generation, voice, character creation and store apps are all on the official pages. User feedback is strong (8.2, from 4.1 stars over 10.1K Google Play reviews). Adult Content Scope is the floor (2.0), because explicit content has been banned in writing since August 2024.

Billing clarity is middling (6.0): every price is public and both companies are named, but refunds are limited to outages and fraud, the public pages don't document self-serve cancellation, and the legal pages of yodayo.com and moescape.ai name a Delaware company and a Hong Kong company respectively, with a third name on the App Store. School-setting user cards among the most-chatted characters cost half a point.

Who should use Yodayo/Moescape:
